Thiru joined AMD in January 2019, with over 22 years of comprehensive and
diverse experience with MNCs and Start-ups in multi-grid and multi-cultural organizations across APAC. He has a demonstrably successful background as a Subject Matter Expert across many sectors including Industrial, Supply Chain,Channel Development, Channel Sales, Operation Planning, Enterprise Solution
Development, Business Process Re-engineering and Quality Systems. Thiru is currently responsible for leading and driving AMD’s growth in the commercial sales (client & server solutions) for ASEAN market, focusing on the development of strategic relationships, and the long-term Sales strategy.
Prior to joining AMD, Thiru held several positions at Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and
HPE. Thiru holds master’s degrees of Microelectronics & Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay India & National University of Singapore (NUS) respectively. He is based out of Singapore.
